1. Operational nature of CleanLog

CleanLog contains practical records based on real operator experience. It is not a certification system, not a laboratory database and not a guarantee of cleaning results.

2. No guaranteed result

The same laser setting may produce different results depending on many factors, including but not limited to:

  • material type and composition,
  • surface condition,
  • coating, paint or contamination type,
  • contamination thickness and age,
  • F-theta optic,
  • machine type and configuration,
  • operator technique,
  • distance, focus, movement speed and working angle,
  • environmental and workplace conditions.

3. User responsibility

Users apply settings at their own responsibility. Before using any shared setting on a real project, the user must perform an appropriate test and evaluate the result on the specific material and surface.

4. Safety responsibility

CleanLog does not replace laser safety training, risk assessment, PPE, workplace rules, legal requirements or the machine manual. Industrial laser cleaning systems are typically Class 4 laser systems and must be operated only by trained professional users with appropriate safety measures.

CleanLog does not provide engineering certification, safety certification, regulatory approval or workplace compliance approval for any shared setting or cleaning process.

5. No liability for user work

The operator of CleanLog is not responsible for damage, poor cleaning results, incorrect use, surface damage, production loss or third-party claims caused by the user’s application of settings, incorrect interpretation of records or unsafe working methods.

6. Illegal or restricted use

CleanLog must not be used to distribute unlawful technical information, restricted military applications, prohibited operational procedures or content that violates applicable export control, dual-use, sanctions or industrial safety regulations.

7. Shared links

Users who share settings outside CleanLog do so at their own responsibility. The recipient must independently verify whether the shared information is suitable for their machine, material and working conditions.

8. Photos and comments

Photos, videos and comments are uploaded by users. They may not fully represent all relevant conditions of the cleaning process. They must be treated as practical reference information, not as a guarantee.

9. Platform role only

CleanLog is an operational information-sharing platform. The operator of CleanLog acts only as the provider of the platform and shared database system. The operator of CleanLog is not responsible for how individual users apply, interpret, upload, share or use records and settings in practice.

Responsibility for uploaded records, photos, videos, comments, technical settings and shared information remains fully with the user and the owner/operator of the machine associated with the serial number used for the record.

Responsibility for testing, validation, safe laser operation and real-world application remains fully with the user and machine operator.

10. Final note

CleanLog is intended to help professional operators find useful operational experience faster. It does not remove the need for professional judgment, testing and safe laser operation.
